Arsenal have appointed former Hashtag United player ‘Tekkers Guru’ as their new attacking-phase coach.
The new addition, whose real name is Hussein Isa, is expected to link up with the Gunners in the summer and will be a part of Mikel Arteta‘s coaching team for the 2023/24 season.
The 34-year-old got his nickname due to his huge online following which he gained for showcasing skills and his sublime free-kick ability.
But Isa is more than just a show pony.
The Athletic are reporting that he will ‘provide specialist assistance’ to Arsenal‘s attackers, with a key focus on their shooting, heading and touch.
Isa was a product of north London rivals Tottenham’s youth academy and went on to represent England at futsal, before joining Hashtag United.
After hanging up his boots, Isa has worked with both Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace within their academy structures.
As well as working in England with the stars of tomorrow, ‘Tekkers Guru’ also boasts a remarkably likeness with the likes of Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero.

In fact, the 34-year-old has worked on a number of commercial shoots as a body double for the two Argentine stars due to his similarity in stature.
If Isa can bring Arsenal any other shared qualities with Messi or Aguero to the Emirates Stadium, it will prove a masterstroke from Arteta.
