The event includes teams from all over the world with many ex-professional players taking part and competing for a $1million prize.

Aguero has his own side in the competition and during their first game of the tournament on Wednesday, things got heated.

As he dribbled towards the box on the ball, he was stopped by a crunching studs-up tackle from a defender on the opposing team.

The 36-year-old screamed and fell to the ground, rolling and holding his shin with fans in the crowd left gasping.

Aguero then got to his feet and turned straight to the player who tackled him, pushing and squaring up to him angrily as they ranted at each other.

The argument would continue for a few seconds before one of Aguero’s teammates aggravated the situation with another push on the defender.

Things then quickly calmed down but the Argentinian was left pointing out the damage to his leg to the referee.

Unfortunately for Aguero, his team would go on to lose the game 6-3 and they sit bottom of their group after one outing.

The TST7v7 tournament includes 48 teams from across the world and many former players are taking part.

Aguero is one of them as he looks to continue playing following multiple heart issues that forced him to retire from football.

Other stars playing include former Manchester United winger Nani, and former Man City striker Mario Balotelli.

Premier League title winner Danny Simpson is also featuring alongside Troy Deeney, Stephen Ireland and Tom Huddlestone.

Maynor Figueroa is a name most in England will remember while he could come up against Italy legend Marco Materazzi.

Giuseppe Rossi, Sebastian Giovinco, Lee Trundle and Cruz Beckham are another set of famous faces at the event.

The set of retired players will all be getting their boots back on, and by the looks of Aguero’s opening game, things are as competitive as ever!
