Man City legend Sergio Aguero has placed a huge bet on his former club to win the Champions League on Saturday night.
The Citizens face off against Inter Milan in Istanbul – live on talkSPORT– as they look to win the competition for the first time in their history and secure the treble.

Just like at the 2022 World Cup with Argentina, being retired isn’t stopping Aguero from getting stuck in in Istanbul with his beloved Man City, with him flying out to Turkey to watch them.
Now, the former striker has shown just how much he wants Pep Guardiola’s side to level Manchester United’s feat, sticking a whopping $10,000 bet (£7,995) on them to win.
Aguero tweeted a screenshot of his bet alongside a snap of him in his City days, writing ‘come on City’.
Aguero’s post revealed he’d bet on Guardiola’s side winning by two or three goals.
The betting slip also revealed his winnings.
If Man City do beat Inter Milan, Aguero will win $19,700 (£15,671).
Should that bet come in, we’re sure we’ll see Aguero doing the Poznan and taking selfies with the Champions League trophy across your social media feeds for weeks to come.
But some superstitious Man City fans are concerned Aguero will now have jinxed their side’s chances, likening it to rapper Drake’s betting curse, who frequently sticks money on athletes and teams, only for them to typically lose.

“What’s this man’s track record ? We don’t want a Drake situation,” another said.
Meanwhile another supporter was convinced he’d definitely jinxed it, writing: “Congrats inter.”
