Lionel Messi has been unveiled as the new co-owner of Sergio Aguero’s e-sports team.
Former Manchester City striker Aguero launched his KRU Esports team in 2020 resulting in huge successes so far.

KRU play competitive games of FIFA, Rocket League, League of Legends and Valorant and have some excellent results.
Messi, a long-time friend of Aguero, has been convinced to join as a co-owner in a move that will see KRU gain huge global popularity.
Aguero took to social media to announce the news that the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner would be joining the ranks.
The Man City legend said: “Now we are 2. I am happy to share a club with Leo, of course now in a new stage and with other challenges.
“It is an honour that he is part of KRU. He is the best footballer in history, and also a great friend.”
The Video ended with Messi appearing on screen saying: “Okay, let’s play.”
The move could see his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo extended after the Portuguese was invited to join an esports team after the news of Messi’s new venture.
But for now, Messi is still fixated on making more on-field history with club side Inter Miami and world champions Argentina.

The 36-year-old recently won another Ballon d’Or and is currently enjoying the MLS off-season before his return to pre-season training in January.
Despite a glittering career, Messi appears to have unfinished business as he targets a third-straight tournament success with his country ahead of next summer’s Copa America in the United States.
He helped a struggling Inter Miami claim their first trophy in its history when they lifted the Leagues Cup in August but will be expected to kick on next season after the high-profile additions of former Barcelona teammates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
