Erling Haaland has been formidable since his arrival at Manchester City and is showing no signs of slowing down.
However, despite his recent efforts, talkSPORT host Darren Bent has revealed he would rather pick a prime Sergio Aguero over the Norwegian.

Haaland’s goal against Bournemouth saw him break City’s record for the most Premier League goals in a season by a single player.
His 27th strike of the campaign trumped Aguero’s 26 from the 2014/15 season, and there are still 13 games left to play.
Aguero netted 260 goals for City across ten seasons, and is held in high regard by many football fans.
And Bent, who scored more than 100 Premier League goals himself, admits he would still choose Aguero in his pomp over Haaland, despite the 22-year-old’s heroics.
“Aguero did it for like ten years,” he told Drive on talkSPORT.
“Listen we’re basing it on Haaland right now, and Aguero in his pomp did it for years and years and years and years and years. He has the best goals-per-game ratio in the Premier League.”

Aguero is City’s all-time top goalscorer, with his efforts contributing to the 12 major honours he won at the club.
Should Haaland stay for as long as the Argentine did, he will more than likely exceed this number.
The Norwegian has scored 33 goals in as many games in his debut season, maintaining his status as one of the best in world football.
