Sergio Aguero was at the heart of Argentina’s celebrations as they won the World Cup.
In a crazy final at Doha’s Lusail Stadium, the South American side finally got their hands on the trophy to spark wild scenes, winning 4-2 on penalties.

With the blockbuster World Cup final going to extra-time, Lionel Messi thought he had won it after scoring his second of the game in the 108th minute.
Messi tapped home from close range after reacting quickest to Hugo Lloris parrying out Lautaro Martinez’s effort.
It sparked wild scenes from the Argentina players as they ran over to celebrate with Messi, who had broken the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute.
And his compatriot Aguero was equally as joyous from inside the ground as he was spotted singing and chanting following Messi’s goal.
The Manchester City legend failed to contain his delight as he let himself go with it appearing Argentina were on their way to victory.
But his celebrations were short-lived as Kylian Mbappe equalised from the spot ten minutes later.

In doing so, he became the first player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final since Sir Geoff Hurst in 1966.
Mbappe had banged in a quickfire double to send the game into extra-time after Messi and Di Maria’s first half goals.
Speaking on talkSPORT commentary, Stuart Pearce said: “This final is like reading an all-time classic… brilliant, brilliant spectacle.”
Adrian Durham then commented: “It’s the highest scoring World Cup ever, and surely the best World Cup final ever?
“Have you ever witnessed anything quite like that? It was bonkers, it was brilliant.”
To which Pearce simply stated: “It’s arguably the greatest game of football you’ll ever see.”

Messi did end up getting his fairytale ending as Argentina won 4-2 on penalties.
Aguero was then seen wearing Nicolas Otamendi’s shirt as he joined in the celebrations.
The striker played in three World Cups for Argentina, but was denied the chance to play in a fourth as he was forced to retire from football last December with a heart problem.
John Terry famously wore his full Chelsea kit when the Blues won the 2008 Champions League final, even though he did not play – and he endured plenty of ridicule.
But Terry could laugh about it, writing on Twitter: “If your going to do it, at least go for it and put the shin pads and boots on.”
In the changing room after, Aguero filmed the joyous scenes and was even corrected by Angel Di Maria, who reminded him that he had scored in three finals.
“Here he is, the scorer, dad!,” he said as he filmed himself talking to his father, bringing up his goal in the Copa America final and the World Cup final.
“And at Wembley, do not forget,” Di Maria said, reminding him about his goal in the Finalisma that saw Italy beaten.
Then ended with the Man City legend smoking a cigar.
