New footage has showed the full extent of Argentina’s huge row with the Netherlands after their dramatic World Cup quarter-final.
The Albiceleste emerged victorious after extra-time and penalties despite an incredible Dutch comeback from two goals down, including an equaliser in the 11th minute of stoppage-time.

However, a thrilling encounter turned into an ugly one when the game boiled over in the latter stages, with a record 18 yellow cards brandished.
Argentina were angered by what they perceived to be intimidation tactics from Louis van Gaal’s side and, as they won the shootout, Lionel Messi and co. made sure their opponents knew about it.
The Argentina players were pictured goading the Netherlands at full-time and Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries was shown a red card for confronting them.
Meanwhile, Messi told Van Gaal to stop talking so much and it appears he also clashed with Wout Weghorst – who came off the bench and scored both of the Netherlands’ goals, along with his penalty in the shootout.
Burnley striker Weghorst tried to approach Messi in the tunnel to offer a handshake, to which the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner responded: “Who are you looking at, stupid? Go ahead, you idiot.”
And retired Argentina legend Sergio Aguero stepped in and told Weghorst to ‘shut up’.

Explaining the incident afterwards, Aguero said: “We were just starting to enter the dressing room when this big guy [Weghorst] started to shout, ‘Hey, hey, Messi.’
“Leo turned around to look at him and said what he said.
“The guy then told him, ‘Come here and say that’, so I jumped in there and told him to shut up.
“I said, ‘Why are you talking to Messi like that?’ He then said to me, ‘Don’t tell me to shut up’.”

Meanwhile, Argentina goalkeeper was seen screaming at the Netherlands bench, shirtless and seemingly ready to rumble.
“Keep your mouth shut you f****** t***! I f***** you twice!” he said in the direction of the Dutch bench.
