Sergio Aguero has been spotted playing football for the first time since his retirement – on a five-a-side pitch in Miami.

The former Barcelona and Manchester City man was forced to retire last year following doctor’s advice after he suffered chest pains.

He was taken to hospital for cardiological tests after suffering pains during his Barca debut, before the club confirmed the striker would initially be out for three months.

The 34-year-old then called time on his illustrious career, which included scoring one of the most iconic goals in Premier League history.

But he has now been seen back on the pitch after his retirement, as he was filmed playing in a small-sided game in America.

Sporting a Barcelona shirt, the Argentinian showed that he’s still got it by frequently finding the back of the net against the presumably-shocked amateurs.

His quick footwork and eye for a pass were also on show on the astroturf, as he linked up with teammates just as well as he did with former colleague Lionel Messi.

One of his shots in the video went flying over the bar, however, showing that he’s got exactly what it takes to be the perfect five-a-side player!

Man City recently honoured the Argentine with a statue on the 10th anniversary of his title-winning goal in 2012.

He joins ex-teammates Vincent Kompany and David Silva in stone outside the Etihad Stadium.

“Truthfully, it is a very beautiful thing for me,” said Aguero.

“In those 10 years I was able to win a lot of trophies and was able to help the club become one of the most important in the world.

“I am very grateful to the club for making this statue in recognition of my football career in Manchester. It is something very special.

“I remember I was very young, to see myself 10 years ago is very moving.”
