Barcelona have reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester City forward Ferran Torres, but they may not be able to afford him.
The 21-year-old only joined Man City in the summer of 2020 on a five year contract and has hefty a €60m price tag.

The Spaniard is currently out injured due to a fractured foot, but has still managed to record three goals in the seven appearances he’s made for Pep Guardiola this season.
Torres has struggled to make a regular mark on Guardiola’s first-team since his move to the Premier League from Valencia, and has regularly been linked with a move back to Spain.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona want to bring him to the Nou Camp and have even agreed to personal terms over a possible transfer for the forward to return to his homeland.
However, the cash-strapped club been unable to meet his cost and have only offered €50m for the attacker.
Recent reports have claimed the LaLiga giants would have to sell off their unwanted high earners to get the necessary cash for transfer targets – such as the out of favour Philippe Coutinho.

The ex-Liverpool star was the third most expensive transfer in the history of football at £142m and rumours suggest that he has been offered up to both Tottenham and newly-minted Newcastle.
It is likely Barcelona will struggle to replace the incredible talent the now-retired Sergio Aguero offered to them due to their debt, so off-loading some of the top earners from their wage bill seems inevitable.
However, Romano also claims the Catalonian outfit have a back-up plan should they be unable to gather the funds for City’s Torres.
It is suggested Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech will be plan B in the hunt to bolster Barca’s attack.
Alexis Sanchez is another option Barcelona are currently eyeing, with the 32-year-old struggling to experience regular game time at his current club Inter Milan.
Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has also been linked with a move to fill Aguero’s boots, but Romano says the Premier League giants are still yet to receive an approach from any club for the Uruguayan hitman.
“He is considered an important member of the squad,” the transfer guru has said.
